Day 2

            Today, we all got settled in to our new home for the next three weeks. We finally are getting to know each other better, and the seventh graders are getting introduced to micro economy and occupation groups. One of the occupation groups is planning how the Land School can be every week year round at Lake Country. In the other occupation group, they are studying the science of cooking, and are making a kitchen orientation video so that Donna doesn’t have to go over it every time people come to the Land School. We also learned what to do in different situations that affect our safety at the Land School, no matter how unlikely they might be. We also had our first math time and our first study hall, which was rather hectic. People finally seem to make the land school their home, and I think that everyone is gonna have fun.
