Harvest Fest On Sunday October 9th

It has been a fall to remember. The endless string of dry warm days. The incredible harvest of broccoli, cauliflower and arugula (among other things). The new lean-to on the long barn. Anne and her chickens. The Class G overnight and The Great River week. The first month on staff for Kate Flick. And now the Harvest Fest!

On Sunday we will have another gathering of the LCS community. There are innumerable pumpkins and squash, potatoes and garlic, maple syrup, and much more for sale. The potluck will be incredible, as always. There are dog demonstrations of skill and herding. Hayrides go all day. There are crafts - wool, corn husk dolls, hay wreaths, and more. Apple pressing for cider and apple bobbing. Lots of socializing, including live music jams. Hikes and garden tours.

The fun starts at 11 AM (come early to wash pumpkins), potluck at noon, hayrides from 1 until 4 pm.
