         Saturdays on the Farmstay are basically free time.  But, if you want, you can do some optional work, which you get paid for.  You get 6 credits per hour: 4 to spend and 2 that are called share credits.  The 4 spending credits you can use to buy ice cream or keep for other things.  The two share credits you can combine with other people and buy things for the Land School, or for a favorite charity. 

         Today, everyone did optional work.  We did a bunch of miscellaneous stuff.  The work started at 9 and went until 12.  You could start during any hour you wanted.  After that we all did a bunch of fun stuff.  We went to the treehouse and talked and swung off the branches with the rope.  Unfortunately, when I was swinging the rope broke and I fell.  I still had a great time though. It was a great day and was lots of fun.
