Today
is definitely the slowest day on Farm Stay 4. All morning we were offered optional work, which many of us
accepted. Three hours later, we
are spread out maple sugaring, chopping wood and working in the green
house. Eventually the word gets
around that lunchtime has arrived, and we tiringly walk to back to the Homestead
for lunch. In addition to waiting
to be dismissed after eating, some of us are waiting to work with the bees with
Doug. Others of us think of what
to do. When nothing came to mind,
nothing happened. Far later in the
day, after working with the bees, and after we had eaten dinner, we settled
down into the gathering room to watch our selected movie Tintin. After a day that was roughly a whole
year long, we crash into bed.
