More spring phenology.
We saw a snake on the asphalt road today. Grackles were flying around my friend's spruce trees this morning. The creeks which were over their banks are now back to the regular courses. The ice is mostly off the pond in Prairie Farm (not our pond yet). A friend heard her first spring peeper frogs. The daffodils in front of the homestead have come up but not yet bloomed. We saw bluebirds yesterday by the beehives and closed up the nest box so they could make their nests.
